Join us for a 9-day journey through Northern Tanzania, designed for travellers seeking a meaningful blend of safari, nature, and deep connection with local life and culture. From the moment you arrive, we – Emmanuel, your local expert, and Dewi – will be your personal hosts, guiding you and taking care of every detail. Day 1: Arusha: Arrival
Welcome! Upon arrival, you will be transferred by car to your accommodation, where Dewi and Emmanuel, your hosts, will personally welcome you and ensure the start of your safari is seamless and memorable.

Day 2: Napuru Waterfall Hike & Traditional Cooking
After breakfast, we begin the day with a warm and personal introduction moment. We then head out for a refreshing hike to Napuru Waterfall, where you can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings and the beauty of the landscape. Afterwards, we continue to Emmanuel’s family home to buy fresh local ingredients and prepare a traditional lunch together.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Today we begin our two-day safari! We set off early from Arusha towards Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large elephant population and its iconic baobab trees. At the end of the day, we continue our drive to Karatu for the overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Today we visit the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. This unique place offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five. After an impressive safari day, we return to Karatu.

Day 5: Mto wa Mbu Village Exploration and Return to Arusha
We visit the village of Mto wa Mbu for a village tour (by bicycle or tuk-tuk). Here you get a glimpse into local life, agriculture, and traditional crafts, and we enjoy a local lunch. Afterwards, we return to Arusha.

Day 6: Arusha City Exploration & Lake Duluti
After breakfast, we set out to explore the vibrant city of Arusha. During our city tour, we visit local landmarks, experience daily life in the city, and discover the unique atmosphere that makes Arusha the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
In the afternoon, we head to the peaceful shores of Lake Duluti for a relaxing boat tour. Surrounded by lush forest and tranquil waters, this is a wonderful opportunity to unwind, spot birdlife, and enjoy a different side of Tanzania’s natural beauty.

Day 7: Materuni Waterfall & Coffeetour
A day in Materuni, on the green slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, offers a gentle shift in rhythm from safari to culture.
A simple local lunch completes the morning, before you return to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon. Surrounded by greenery, stillness, and the soft presence of Kilimanjaro.

Day 8: Rau Forest Cycling Excursion
After breakfast, we set out on a cycling tour through Rau Forest, a peaceful natural area on the outskirts of Moshi. Riding along quiet trails, we enjoy the lush surroundings, spot local wildlife, and experience the calm beauty of this unique forest landscape. Afterwards, we return to the lodge, where the rest of the day is yours to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at your own pace.

Day 9: Departure
Today you will be transferred to the airport, bringing with you a wealth of special and unforgettable memories. As your journey comes to an end, you leave Tanzania with meaningful experiences, new connections, and moments to cherish for a lifetime.
