Our story
Guided by depth. Inspired by discovery.
where adventure meets care
At Emmaventure, your journey is personal from the very first moment — but also intentional. From your first inquiry to the final day of your adventure, we remain closely involved, shaping every detail with care so you can fully surrender to the experience itself.
Living in Arusha, we are not operating from afar. We are present. Nearby. Available when you need us, discreet when you don’t — always attentive to what matters most.
Every guide you travel with is thoughtfully matched to your group — not only for their expertise, but for their character, intuition and ability to read the subtle dynamics of a journey. Many are long-time friends, some even family. We know their strengths, their stories, and the heart they bring to every safari.
The lodges, guides and communities we work with are not listings in a portfolio. They are relationships we have cultivated over years. We choose places that reflect our values — refined yet rooted, comfortable yet authentic.
Every journey supports the people and places that make Tanzania extraordinary, through fair partnerships, meaningful employment and long-term commitment.
Whether it is a private safari, a Kilimanjaro ascent or a quiet escape to Zanzibar, each journey is carefully curated — balancing depth with discovery, wilderness with reflection, and comfort with authenticity.
Because for us, travel is not only about where you go.
It is about how it feels — and what stays with you long after you return home.
Intentional. Refined. Personal.
How we work
Every journey begins with careful listening. When we receive an enquiry, Dewi personally shapes the initial itinerary — looking beyond dates and destinations to understand the people behind the request: who you are travelling with, the experiences you seek, and what truly matters to you.
Each route is designed not only for feasibility, but for how it will feel. Is the pace right for your group? Do the sequence of parks, landscapes and experiences create a natural, flowing rhythm? Are there subtle additions — a hidden viewpoint, a quiet lodge, or a sensory moment — that may surprise and delight, enriching the journey in ways guests do not yet know to ask for?
Once the draft is ready, Emmanuel reviews it. With years of experience across the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro, his first-hand knowledge fine-tunes every detail, grounding the plan in real, on-the-ground expertise.
Only then is the itinerary shared. You always have the final say — and together, we refine it until it feels effortless, personal, and entirely yours.
Encounters You'll Never Forget
Responsible by practice
We choose not to lead with certifications or labels. Many companies may hold the right badges, yet have little insight into what truly happens each day on the ground. We believe responsibility belongs where the work is done — in the national parks, on the mountains, and behind the scenes.
That is why we take the more deliberate path of designing journeys in close collaboration with local communities, partnering with locally trained professionals rather than relying on fly-in staff from afar. This ensures that value remains where it is created, supporting long-term quality, shared growth, and a grounded form of sustainability.
For us, meaningful impact does not come from gestures performed far away. While we respect initiatives elsewhere, our focus remains close to home — in the communities we live and work in. Responsibility is carried quietly, in daily life, not displayed as a badge. Impact, for us, is something quietly lived, felt, and shared.
With Emmaventure, I started guiding day trips, then assisted on Kilimanjaro climbs and worked as a safari cook. I’m excited to take the next step behind the safari jeep and continue growing into my dream of becoming a full safari guide.
