about us
Connecting you to Tanzania
where adventure meets care
At Emmaventure, your journey is personal from the very first moment. From your first inquiry to the final day of your adventure, we stay in direct contact, helping you plan and adjust every detail so you can focus on the experience itself. Living in Arusha, we’re always nearby — ready to meet you, check in as you prefer, or simply be close at hand.
Every guide you travel with is carefully matched to your group, based on knowledge, skills, and the dynamics of your party. Many of our guides are longtime friends or even family members, so we know them inside and out — and so can you.
The lodges, guides, and communities we work with are personal connections we’ve nurtured over years, and every journey supports the places and people where it truly matters. Beyond fair salaries, we provide meaningful support to our team and their families, ensuring your travel has a positive impact on the communities you visit.
Whether it’s a safari, a Kilimanjaro climb, or a Zanzibar escape, each journey is carefully designed to show you Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and culture to the fullest — a seamless, personal adventure that’s uniquely yours.
Personal. Expert-Led. Worry-Free.
How we work
Every journey begins with careful listening. When we receive an enquiry, Dewi personally shapes the initial itinerary. She looks beyond dates and destinations to understand the people behind the request — who you are travelling with, what kind of experience you are seeking, and what truly matters to you.
Each route is considered not only for feasibility, but for how it will feel. Is the travel pace right for your group? Does the sequence of parks, landscapes and activities create a natural flow? Are there thoughtful additions — experiences, accommodations or logistical details — that guests may not yet know to ask for, but that could meaningfully enrich the journey?
Once the itinerary is drafted, it is reviewed together with Emmanuel. With thousands of kilometres travelled — both on Mount Kilimanjaro and across the Serengeti — his first-hand expertise helps fine-tune the details, ensuring that every plan is grounded in real, on-the-ground experience.
Only then is the itinerary shared. You always have the final say, and we refine the journey together until it feels right.
Responsible. Grounded. Local.
Responsible by practice
We choose not to lead with certifications or ethical labels. Many companies hold the right badges on paper, yet have limited insight into what truly happens during daily operations. We believe responsibility belongs where the work is done — in the national parks, on the mountain, and behind the scenes.
For that reason, we take the often more demanding path of building our journeys together with the local community, working with locally trained professionals rather than fly-in staff from abroad. This approach helps ensure that value remains where it is created, allowing tourism to support long-term quality, shared growth and a more grounded form of sustainability.
We also believe that meaningful impact does not require reaching far beyond the place where you live and work. While we respect organisations and initiatives elsewhere, our focus remains close to home — within the communities we are part of. We choose to share responsibility in everyday ways, carrying life together rather than showcasing charitable gestures. For us, impact is not something to display, but something quietly lived.
With Emmaventure, I started guiding day trips, then assisted on Kilimanjaro climbs and worked as a safari cook. I’m excited to take the next step behind the safari jeep and continue growing into my dream of becoming a full safari guide.
