Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and pre-safari stay
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a member of our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. In the afternoon or evening, your safari guide will meet you for a detailed safari briefing.
Accommodation: Sanna Eco Lodge (Classic) or Rivertrees Country Inn (Luxury)
Day 2: Arusha National Park
You depart from Arusha in the morning and head to nearby Arusha National Park. The day is spent on game drives through varied landscapes, including open plains, forested areas and the Momella Lakes. Wildlife sightings may include giraffes, buffalo, zebras and colobus monkeys.
In the late afternoon, you return to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After an early morning departure from Arusha, your driver-guide will pick you up and take you on a scenic journey toward Tarangire National Park. Once inside the gates, your full day of game viewing begins — from elephants and lions to countless birds and grazing herds. In the late afternoon, you’ll make your way to your lodge or camp.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Drive from Mto wa Mbu into the heart of the Serengeti, with a morning en-route safari through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive on the iconic plains and begin your first game drives, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes and other wildlife across the endless savannah. End the day at a comfortable lodge inside or near the park.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park, immersing yourself in its vast landscapes and rich wildlife. Enjoy extended game drives across different areas of the park, following the rhythms of the animals throughout the day. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge to relax after a day filled with unforgettable encounters.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Spend another full day exploring Serengeti National Park, immersing yourself in its vast landscapes and rich wildlife. A second day in the Serengeti allows you to explore different areas of the park, increasing your chances of witnessing diverse wildlife behaviour.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend from the Serengeti into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, where the morning is spent on an unforgettable safari across the crater floor. Encounter lions, elephants, zebras, and flamingos amid this dramatic volcanic landscape, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife arenas. After a day of immersive game drives, return to Mto wa Mbu, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.

Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park
Your final safari day takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, where a diverse landscape of forest, plains and lake attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Enjoy an unhurried, full day game drive before heading back to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu village.

Day 9: Departure or trip extension
After a final breakfast at your campsite or lodge, your safari draws to a close. You’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport — or continue your journey with a tropical escape to Zanzibar. However you choose to travel on, the memories of Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife will stay with you long after you leave.
